BIMWorkplace has partnered with Autodesk to provide 3D model viewing capabilities, enabling the extraction of data from Revit models directly in the cloud without the need for file conversions.

The major advantage is that it is no longer necessary to assign software licenses to all team members—only those who are actively working on the model need licenses. Other team members, who do not have software licenses, can, at any time and from any location with an internet connection, view the models directly from BIMWorkplace. This means greater flexibility, reduced licensing costs, and improved collaboration.

There is a cost associated with Autodesk for using this service. The data extraction packages available for purchase on BIMWorkplace cover this cost for reading .RVT files. It is important to note that the cost is significantly lower compared to purchasing BIM modeling software licenses. 😊

Important Note: These credits are only needed when uploading models directly through the cloud. BIMWorkplace offers infinite uploads for IFC 2×3 or IFC 4 formats, as well as Revit uploads via our plug-in.

Important: Data extraction credits are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. After this period, any unused credits will expire and cannot be recovered.
