Closed Topics
If the Closed Topics permission is enabled for the project (configured in Project Permissions), a checkmark icon appears next to each topic title.
This allows authorized users to mark topics as closed.
Closing a Topic
1. Click the checkmark next to the topic’s title
2. The icon turns green, and the topic status is updated in the table
3. Only users with the appropriate permission can close topics
When a topic is closed, its behavior depends on the configured permission level:
· Read – the topic is marked as closed but can still be edited by users with edit permissions
· Total – the topic becomes read-only for all users, preventing further changes
Why close topics
Closing topics helps maintain control and clarity throughout the project lifecycle:
· Identifies resolved issues and discussions
· Prevents unintended changes to finalized information
· Keeps the Design module organized and up to date
Closed topics provide a clear visual indicator of progress and support better project tracking.
