Topic Views

To make topic visualization easier, BIMWorkplace allows each user to choose the view that best fits their workflow. You can display topics in either a List view or a Card view.

By default, the Collaboration module opens in List View, but you can easily switch between views at any time.

1.     Switching Views

a.     In the Collaboration module, go to the Navigate tab in the ribbon

b.     Select your preferred view: List or Card

2.     List View

The List View provides a detailed overview of each topic in a table format.

·        Displays all topic attributes in separate columns

·        Allows sorting and grouping by any column for each topic

·        Shows a status color marker in the leftmost column for each topic

o   These colors can be customized in Project Settings –Attributes

Best for: detailed project tracking, filtering, and reporting

3.     Card View

The Card View presents a concise summary of each topic.

·        Displays key details such as title, responsible user, status, area, milestones and due date.

·        Includes quick access to model navigation and the option to follow topics, as well as the possibility to add color tags

·        Shows the status color as a vertical bar on the left edge of each card

Best for: quick reviews, visual management, and team discussions.

Switch views as needed – both formats show the same topics, just in different layouts.
