Markups

The Markups feature in BIMWorkplace allows users to visually annotate models directly in the Model Viewer.

Markups are designed to support coordination, design reviews, and issue discussions by adding clear visual context – without modifying the model itself.

All markups are saved with the view and recorded in the Markup History, ensuring traceability and transparency.

Entering Markup Mode

To start creating markups, activate Markups from the Viewer tooldbar.

Important:

Once you enter Markup Mode, model interaction is disabled:

·        You can no longer rotate, pan, zoom or change the view

·        You cannot select model elements

For this reason, always define the desired view (camera position, cuts, filters, levels, etc.) before entering Markup Mode.
