Integrations

The Integrations feature allows model data to be edited through different workflows, including bulk updates and offline editing.

Model properties can be edited:

·        In BIMWorkplace (online)

·        In Excel (offline)

·        In Revit (via plugin)

1.      Exporting Data to Excel

1.      Go to the Integrations tab.

2.      Click Export Excel.

3.      Wait for the export to complete

4.      Download the file

2.      Editing Data Offline

1.      Open the exported Excel file.

2.      Edit the required fields (e.g., Comments, Manufacturer, custom properties)

3.      Save the file.

This workflow supports:

·        Batch editing

·        Offline data review

·        Collaborating with external stakeholders

3.      Importing the Updated File

1.      Click Import Excel

2.      Select the updated file.

3.      Confirm the import

The system updates the corresponding data in the platform.

After import, a summary is displayed showing the updated fields.

4.      Syncing with Revit

Updated data can be synchronized back to Revit using the BIMWorkplace plugin.

Important:

·        Revit is the only authoring tool that supports round-trip data synchronization

·        This process is available only through the BIMWorkplace Revit plugin

·        For IFC models, editing is limited to BIMWorkplace and Excel workflows.
