What it's for

Save, organize, and reopen views (camera/state + metadata) for yourself or shared folders.

Relevance

Coordination meetings often repeat the same view, saving time versus navigating the model again.

Usage example

Before the weekly meeting, the BIM lead saves "Level 03 coordination" with Capture viewpoint, places it in the Coordination folder, and the team opens it with View.

Who can use it

Model Explorer users (according to My/Public view permissions).

Screen Anatomy

  • List in Grid or List.
  • Manage / View Ribbon.
  • Save View Sheet with capture and permissions.

How to use

  1. In Explorer, position the view.
  2. Model ExplorerSaved Views (or Save / Save As in the Explorer ribbon).
  3. Fill in title, folder, capture viewpoint → save.
  4. Later: select the view → View.

Tips / Common Errors

  • An old view may require the same models to be loaded.
