What it's for

Manage project attributes (custom and system): name, type, features, naming standard, contexts (Topics, Clashes, CDE Documents), create/edit/delete/transfer.

Relevance

Feeds CDE columns, Topic filters, and naming tokens. Without a consistent library, holding areas and standards fail.

Example of use

Coordinates create a New attribute “Zone,” with the appropriate type, associates it with CDE Documents and Naming Standard, then uses it in naming standards and uploads.

Who can use it

Users with Project Settings (attributes).

Screen anatomy

• Title Attributes Library + description.
• Toolbar: Search, Filter by module, New, Manage Attribute, Transfer Attributes.
• Table: Name · Type · Features · Naming Standard · actions.
• Sheets Create/Edit/Delete/Manage.

How to use

1. Project Settings → Attributes Library.
2. New → fill in name/type/contexts → save.
3. Link to naming in Naming Standards.

Tips / common errors

• Do not delete System attributes or those in use in naming without first removing them from folders.
