Left and right panels
UI: Left panel / Right panel
Purpose
Side panels of the shell and viewer: tree, filters, properties, comments, search.
Relevance
In CDE, Search & Filters lives in the right panel (no longer in the ribbon). In Explorer, Properties/Model Tree are in the panels.
Usage example
In Files, Ana opens the right panel, Search and Filter, applies File Types, and saves a saved filter.
Who can use it
Users on screens that expose panels.
