Accounts: we collect, and associate with your account the following information: name, email address, phone number, payment info, and physical address, including for the users you add to your BIMWorkplace account.

Services: when you use our Services, we store, process and transmit your Data and information related to it.

Usage: we collect information from and about the devices and software like the type of browser and which add-ons you use to access the Services. This data is used in pseudonymized and anonymized form for analyzing the use of our services for improvement.

Cookies: we use non-tracking cookies for things like remembering your username for the next visit. You can block cookies via your browser settings.

We use your information also to inform you about our products and services via different channels like mail, email, phone or social media. If you don’t want to receive information from us anymore you can unsubscribe anytime or send a request to destroy your information.

With whom we may share it

We may share information as explained below, but we won’t sell it to advertisers or other third-parties.

Trusted parties

We use certain trusted third parties to help us provide, improve, protect, and promote our Services. These third parties will access your information only to perform tasks on our behalf and in compliance with this Privacy Policy. Other users cannot see your information unless you give them access to it. If you have a private space your administrator has the ability to access and control user access-rights. It is your responsibility to have them follow your internal privacy policies.

Law & Order

We believe your Data should have the same protection as when it was stored on your own devices when it relates to governments requests for our users’ Data. We may disclose your information to third parties if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with the law; protect any person from death or serious bodily injury; prevent fraud or abuse of our users; or protect BIMWorkplace’ property rights.

How & Where

Security

We work constantly on features to keep the Data safe like authentication, encryption and more. We work with certified Datacenters.

Retention

We’ll retain your data for as long as we need it to provide you the Services. If you delete your account or cancel your subscription, we’ll also delete your data. There might be some latency in deleting your data from our servers and back-up storage and we may retain your data if necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Data changes

If we need to transfer your Data for whatever reason or in case we revise this Privacy Policy meaningfully reducing your rights, we will notify you and outline your choices in that event.

Which data do we retain

We don’t collect any sensitive personal data other than needed to provide you with the services. On private spaces it is the responsibility of the space owner to make all invited users to follow the owner’s company privacy policies.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
