UI: Transmittals
What it is for
Create and track formal packages of files sent to recipients (members, teams, companies), with messages, visibility, ZIP, and reminders.
Relevance
Replaces sending IFC via email without traceability. Provides proof of sending (Viewed / Downloaded) and privacy control among recipients.
Example of use
The manager uses Create Transmittal "IFC Architecture Week 12", recipients = client's team, Visibility = Recipients can only see themselves, message, Send me a copy, and later Send reminder email.
Who can use it
Users with Transmittals permission.

Statuses: Pending · Completed · Processing · Failed.
How to use
- CDE → Transmittals → Create Transmittal (or select files in Files → Create Transmittal).
- Title, recipients, visibility, files, message.
- Send; track Viewed/Downloaded.
- Reminder / Export / ZIP as needed.

Tips / common errors
- Title and at least one recipient are required.
- In Files: "Select files to create transmittal" if nothing is selected.
