Audience: Admins / Project managers with Project Settings

Purpose

Manage the project's identity and metadata: code, name, image, location, characteristics (type of construction, contract, etc.), manager, extraction credits, project numbers, and milestones.

Relevance

It is the project's master sheet. Naming standards, attributes, and reports depend on these values. Manager and characteristics feed filters and responsibilities.

Usage example

The coordinator opens Project Info, updates Project code and Project name, chooses Construction type and User manager, reviews Ifc/Cloud/Rvt credits, and saves with Save.

Who can use it

Users with edit permission in Project Settings.

How to use

Open

1. Open project → Project Settings → Project Info.
2. Or ?settings=project&section=project-info.

Edit

1. Change fields in the cards.
2. Optional: click the image → Project Image → upload/remove.
3. Save in the Changes bar.

Tips / common errors

• Empty characteristics → create values in Attributes / workplace builtins.
• Error toast on saving → check permissions and required fields (name).
