Let’s recall the project data fields:
We know the standard BIMWorkplace data fields (area, disciplines, phases, types, priorities and status) and some of these are mandatory when creating a topic.
In addition to standard data fields, the project manager can also create custom data fields. These are not mandatory by default, unless they are later defined as mandatory.

Let’s now return to Topic Settings.
The button marked in the image below allows you to set custom data fields as mandatory fields when creating topics.

When setting data fields as mandatory, they must be filled in when reporting new orders. Otherwise, topic creation cannot complete.
