Project groups

The Project Group section is about managing the organization of the teams involved in the project. It’s up to the project manager to give access to the project in BIMWorkplace to his internal colleagues (from his own company), but also to suppliers, service providers, customers, etc.

To organize these teams, so that each professional has access to the information corresponding to their role, and so that they can edit restricted information, the Project Groups section will facilitate the management of this access control for the teams.

Thus, the project manager doesn’t need to assign individual roles and permissions, but simply assigns users to their respective groups, assigning permissions according to the group.

Observation: a user can be assigned to more than one project group.
